Mahalo, from Kartik and Malvika.
We fly window or aisle is our view of the world in form of things that we love – sampling various cuisines, varied dining experiences, travel, and photography. We believe that travel and food connect people irrespective of their ethnicity, language or nationality. Through our experiences and journeys, we want to encourage people to think of this world as a global community without borders.
Malvika: I was born and brought up in an Eastern state of India. After completing my Bachelors in Computer Engineering and working for few years I decided to move to the USA to pursue a Masters degree at Carnegie Mellon University. I currently work as a Data Scientist at a Bay area company. I love to travel, experiment with different cuisines and go shopping!
Kartik: I am from the famous Pink city of India and spent my childhood there. I have lived in multiple Indian cities before moving to Pittsburgh to do my Masters at Carnegie Mellon University. I currently work as a Technical Program Manager at a Bay area company. I am passionate about technology, cars and landscape photography.
We met 4 years ago at Carnegie Mellon University where we bonded over our common love for travel, food and all things artsy. On most days you can find us planning or traveling to places near and far or trying out new restaurants in San Francisco (it has more restaurants per capita than any other city in the USA) and the Bay Area. We are lucky to be living in one of the most beautiful cities in the world and excited to share our journey with everyone.
We would love to share our travel and food recommendations with you, so follow us on Instagram & Facebook.
